@@scribblerex is that red with engine running and AC switched ON? It usually goes down when AC kicks on. Thats the reading you want to look at

@JonnyDIY yeah, red with the engine on, fan on high, ac all the way cold and on full blast. 🫤 The air compressor seems to be running correctly. I did just get the radiator and drive belt replaced (2009 camry)...is there any crazy chance the auto shop forgot to reattach something?

@@scribblerex look at the ac compressor and make sure the front clutch it kicking and turning on (it will kick on and then shut off). If refrigerant too low or empty it wont kick on at all. Possibly they could have forgot to plug wires back in or had to open AC system and leaked out all refrigerant. If it was working fine before and now not after Id say its possible

I'm at Ehrenberg, Arizona across from Blythe, California on the only river that runs through the South West United States: The Colorado. I'm 62 and don't work on vehicles much anymore--but watching your vids got me to thinking maybe I'd give it a try and do a coolant flush. I would drain it and refill, but add a bottle or 2 of Lucas stop slip transmission fix in. It may help get it going again or transmission could be done. Guys at auto store may be able to tell you how much is needed to add back after draining. You dont want to overfill either

As long as you dont have huge leaks in system it lasts a long time. They charge quite a bit because of labor and overhead. They usually will vacuum entire system and capture refrigerant, test for leaks then refill with correct amount your vehicle calls for. It's an easy DIY though just to top it off as I showed.

A little boiling water wont hurt and the pressure if minimal. Do as you will 👍

@@JonnyDIY "Do as you will" makes plumbers and other tradesmen a lot of money. So keep "doing as you will." Channels like yours help plumbers retire with fat retirement accounts. And the dumb pressure advice is earlier in the video, boiling water as a flippant comment at the end. You don't even remember your own advice.

If car is new and is still under warranty or extended manufacturers warranty just take in to dealer early in morning to service department on your day off as a walk in. They should be able to fix it quick. Sounds like minor issue.

Try to remove top cap. Many have said theirs had 1 screw under it they needed to undo first to take out

That's usually normal. Look at the pressure reading when the air conditioner kicks on with car running
